Our story began with a young entrepreneur named Michael. At 18, Michael opened his first restaurant, Maf's in North Bergen, New Jersey. He enjoyed the business and loved getting the chance to serve people a delicious meal.


In 1982, he moved to Florida in search of an opportunity to better his business and his future.


It was there in Jupiter, FL, that he decided he wanted to open a restaurant and serve the best pizza this town will ever taste. Naming it after his own grandfather, Michael would open Angelo's Chicken & Pizza in 1988. Recruiting his parent, Dot & Ralph, they helped cook food and create a menu that always kept people coming back for more. Over time, Michael saw his small business slowly grow and knew he was onto something good.


A few more years, and even more pizzas later, the business would continue to grow and so would the family. Michael and Lisa would go on to have three children: Francesca, Michaelangelo, and Roberto. Now with an even bigger family and more love then you could imagine, Angelo's continues, more than ever, to run on it's original family values that started it all.


A few years and many pizzas later, a young woman, by the name of Lisa, would walk into the restaurant and catch Michael's attention. After a few dates, the connection was undeniable and the love was unmatched. Soon to follow in 1993, Michael and Lisa would get married.

Angelo's Mission

Not all pizzas are created equal. The art of the pizza pie is an Italian tradition.

 

It is Michael's mission to pour his love of the pizza pie into every pie he designs. From the basic traditional ingredients to ethnic blends to custom made requests.
